Nature's Soap Opera

March 05 2007
So today mandy and I were about to get out of my car and we saw an infestation of squirrels right behind the B.  Then two particular squirrels stood out because one was intently pursuing the other.  Mandy and I watched for just about 10 minutes.  The squirrel being pursued did not want to be pursued at all.  She (i think it was a she because I think it's mating season here in Morehead) did not want anything to do with him.  But at the same time, just like a female, she would get distracted and just stop.  Not wise.  While she wasn't paying attention, the other squirrel would come up and sniff her butt...or at least that's what it looked like.  And it happened several times.  Mandy and I decided that if a man were going to pursue us, we would not enjoy having out butt sniffed.  I think it's a logical claim.

So that lasted at least 10 minutes.  Mandy and I concluded that squirrels during mating season is Nature's Soap Opera.
