I wish life would just leave me alone.

Rebecca...girl...you know I love you and have always been here to listen...but look at what you said. That would mean you'd be dead. I love you girl, and we kind of don't want that. So I'd love to hear what's wrong, but those were horrible words to say...

Sure, life is messy. Life is annoying. Life is, well, painful. But for all the pain of life, there's also joy. Joy from God, and joy from friends. Like two sides of a coin, you can't have one without the other. It's merely the journey through pain, to reach the joy that defines life.

Wouldn't it be great if life was like a garden and you could go through and clip out pretty things to put in a vase on your table and yank out yucky things to burn? Ah yes... But.... have you ever weeded a garden and found out how hard it can be to tell the flowers from the weeds. What if you burned what God intended for you and brought in a bunch of beautiful flowers that you were deathly allergic to? That's why we let God be the gardener and do the best we can with what grows! Love ya!

Hehe... I like the garden analogy. Personally, I don't see wanting life to leave you alone as wanting to be dead. I don't want to be dead, but I often find myself wishing everything would just slow down for a while. But it doesn't, and you do what you can with what you have.

I feel that way sometimes too...

I agree with Josh. (Imagine that) I also like the garden analogy. Life Happens. The good, the bad, the ugly (yuk). What really matters is what you do with it. Yesterday is past. Learn from it, but don't dwell on it. Tomorrow will be here soon enough, maybe. Plan for it, but don't worry about it. Today is what we have. No matter what life throws at us, what we do with it may very well be what shapes our tomorrow(s).

I wish that sometimes too but I realize that whatever has happened to me or whatever I'm going through is in God's plan for my life. And I also try to remember that He would never give me anything I couldn't stand up under. It's during those times I lean on my friends and family even more. I hope that whatever it is, God will give you the strength and the encouragement you will need. I love you my Becky girl.

In times like those i like to think of the little things in life that make it all worthwhile
