VERY Strange!

Has anyone had the following happen to them before? We were in our car, a 2001 Buick, w/o Onstar yesterday and suddenly a loud voice came through the speakers saying "VOICE FEEDBACK IS NOW OFF". Any idea what this could have been? Was our car 'bugged', hmmm. Thanks for ideas.

Doubt there was a bugging. Presume it was a "radio overflow" ... which happens from time to time (outside radio tramission feeding into your car radio). BUT, did you check the GM website?

Hm, Google has some articles on "Buick Voice Feedback". Seems Buick was playing around with the concept. You might want to check up on your system. Maybe you had functionality you didn't know. Or, maybe it was a "ghost" program in the control system that never got deleted.
