GO !!!! CLASS OF 2006!!!!!!!

our youth group competes tonight in district fine arts.i got up at 4:00a.m. this morning to practice my solo human video and i feel alot more confident about it.i am also in the youth choir, which is awesomely motivated for God! this saturday we go back to compete and then we have an awards ceremony.later on is prom for some of us. i know, a busy weekend is ahead of us!!!

have you ever felt like giving up? i have plenty of times!!! but something kept me from doing so. i was at a cross road in my life where i had to choose to do my own thing or allow God to shape me and mold me. i chose to allow God to shape me and mold me. God never promised that life was going to be easy. although life throws obstcles in our path, we can overcome them with God's help. no matter waht you face in life God is their waiting for you to take his hand. He sticks closer than a brother.

We as Christians have a responsibility to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. While Jesus was on this earth he healed the sick and loved those who persecuted him.  One life one chance. Jesus never promised that living for him was going to be easy.  In Isaiah 53:5the bible proclaims that Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.  One life one chance.  God sent His Holy spirit to earth to be with each one of his people.  We must rely on Him to guide our hearts to be Christ-like.  Each and every person will one day be judged by God. We have One life, one chance to make a difference in someone's life.  i can only imagine what people go through on a daily bases. we as christinas have a responsibilty to share the gospel. God never promised a next breath or tomorrow, so lets cease the moment for no sorrow. What will you do to make a difference? God does care what His Children go through on a daily basis; he sticks closer than a brother. He will never leave you or forsake you. 

THE ARMOR OF GOD:

THERRFORE PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD,SO THAT WHEN THE DAY OF EVIL COMES,YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STAND YOUR GROUND, AND AFTER YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING, TO STAND. STAND FIRM THEN, WITH THE BELT OF TRUTH BUKLED AROUND YOUR WAIST, WITH THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN PLACE, AND WITH YOUR FEET FITTED WITH THE READINESS THAT COMES FROM THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. IN ADDITION TO ALL THIS, TAKE UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH, WITH WHICH YOU CAN EXTINGUISH ALL THE ARROWS OF THE EVIL ONE. TAKE UP THE HELMET OF SALVATION AND THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT,WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD. AND PRAY IN ALL OCCASSIONS WITH ALL KINDS OF PRAYERS AND REQUESTS.WITH THIS IN MIND, BE ALERT AND ALWAYS KEEP ON PRAYING FOR ALL THE SAINTS(EPHESIANS 6:10-18)

STICKS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER!!!!

God has had such a major impact on my life.  just recently He  revealed just a glimpse of what He wants me to do for ministry. so far i have seen myself singing somewhere in churches or something. God desires for his children to worship him.  i have been through alot so far in my life. at times the circumstance seems unbearible, then i remember the one who conquered the world. i'm about to go and visit my mom in Maryland whom i havn't seen in 6 years. there has been several times where i came close to leaving God's will.  but because of His word that is already hidden in my heart, God's word saved me!  if you are going through a tough time in your life, cry out to God and he will meet you in your time of need.  Jesus Christ laid down his life for you and me. the same Jesus that caused the blind to see and healed the sick nearly 2000 years ago hasn't changed! because of what God has done thus far in my life i can go and witness to my mom and family and share the love of Jesus Christ with them.
