Human Video

April 01, 2006stacy and i are in charge of a human video for Fine Arts.  we had 10 people.  one dropped so we added another.  now we're down to 7.  it's fine, because i'm much better with small groups.  i'd probably do much better with a 4 person group anyway.  we have 4 weeks to practice before the competition.  if we get a 36 out of 40, we get to go to nationals.  i'm pretty excited.

our church has never done a very energetic human video before, so i don't have much experience with them.  i think this one's working out pretty well, though.  we already have the whole thing learned.  not many people miss practices, and we have a very good group.  everyone's really willing to try stuff and they're patient with me and stacy.

it's interresting to see how stacy and i work together.  mmm...  let's just say that it's something we should work on, but it's not bad.

it would be double cool to have a human video that we created and taught go to nationals...  fun...

The Girlfrend

March 27, 2006so as of today, stacy and i have been dating one glorious year...  it's been a good year!  she's on spring break, so she's going to class with me...  i wonder how she's going to like my sociology prof.  she'll probably not like her.  but it'll be fun having her in class.  a good distraction from the monotony.

i'm really jazzed about this whole one year thing.  i only had 2 other girlfriends in high school.  i haven't had a girlfriend for more than a few months since...  ...  annie...  and for those of you who don't know, annie was before high school.

The Shiner

March 23, 2006i was wrestling last night.  Chris and i were wrestling Ken (a 2nd degree blackbelt).  we won, but i got this great red mark all over my upper arm from his shoe (i was holding both his legs) and i got a black eye!  stacy's not so happy about it...  to mention it, neither is my mom, but i think it's not too bad.  i wish i had a stinkin' camera, i'd post up a pic.  if i get the chance, i will.

as it is, i'm feeling great (with a slight headache).

March 17, 2006alright, geniuses-i have several problems.  one that is getting on my neves at the moment is pdf files.  i am scanning lead sheets and saving them as pdf files.  then i'm trying to convert them to text.  it's not working.  help me out guys...  i can't find a freeware that does it.
