Good Question

To be forgetting you in a caberet

April 16 2007

Haha, I think I'm going through a song title phase. Sadly they're the only things I can come up with when I want to put up a title.

Yesterday was the first time we had Fine Arts practice in three weeks, and I amazed myself. I remembered my drama, our large emsemble has managed to suck again this year, the choir is great but it feels like it's over to fast.

The human video on the other hand...man we pwn. Before service last night we worked with Alicia on a flip and even though I was wet from my knees down, IT WAS FREAKIN AMAZING!!!! Then everyone discovered I'm a very light person and spent a few minutes tossing me around like a salad.

I played wing-man for Krista on Saturday after practice, boy that was a trip. I found out she hates sushi, and I had some fun with that! Not a whole lot is funnier than watching someone turn green when you shove a piece of raw fish in your mouth.

Do I trust this dialect to convey the right effect?

I've very recently fallen in love with that song... it's all Ryan's fault.he's the one that thought I'd enjoy a song with my name in it. Go figure. By the way the song is "Dear Jamie, Sincerely Me"  by Hellogoodbye.

Ryan (while I'm thinking about it) is my pet emo kid. Yes, I have a pet emo kid. I'm just trying to figure out what to feed him, at first I thought about black cookies and red punch, but that won't be enough to sustain him. These emo kids are touchy critters. Any suggestions?

Pa and Nana are going home for the weekend, I think Pa misses his sattelite dish. But he only has to take 6 radiation treatments instead of the original 10. Woo-hoo! They should be back on Sunday night, but I'm not sure when.

Fine Arts is in almost 2 weeks, and I'm not done with my drama solo, eep! I'm not sure how well it's going to turn out. None of you are allowed to laugh.

I'm only a little bored and mildly sleep deprived, and when I get home I have to do a whole mess of chores. That's not to say my laundry isn't high on my priority list, it's just not my first idea of how to kill a Friday night. If I get done with all of it, I may just curl up on the couch, pop in a DVD, and crash.

The Apprentice

April 05 2007

Who knew that show was so freakin annoying? I really can't stand it, even thought the women seem to actually know what they were doing, it's just agrivating.

Ah whatever. Three day weekend, and I'm sleeping in tommorow. The though seems nice, especially since I couldn't wake up this morning. I fell asleep going down the stairs and woke up in the kitchen. How I didn't fall I'll never know.

Hey girls!! There's a massive sleepover at my house tommorow night, lot's of really girly movies and that sort of thing. Call me (556-5744) or my mom (485-6867) for details, it may be better for you to call Mom. I'm at school and won't be able to answer my phone till after 3:45.

Wraslin' in the grass

April 03 2007

Yeah, Amanda and I got bored last night at Trilogy practice. So we did the only thing that made any sense at all, we went out to the side of the church and went at it. That girl can throw it DOWN!! No major injuries, no real minor injuries either. It was all in fun and we set down some pretty strict ground rules.

You're all probably thinking that we've lost it, and you might be right. But you love us anyway!

Now i'm just biding my time until the class ends, so I just might go read a book. I'm starting Memoirs of a Geisha again, that is such a good book! It's not exactly a guys book but most girls that have read it that I know love it. I know I do.

I'm okay!!

April 02 2007

People keep asking me if I'm okay, so I'm just putting it out there that I'm fine. So please stop asking!!!

Sunday was... interesting. I'll admit it was fun to play with the fake blood, but that stuff smelled so BAD! My hands are stained red.

Saturday was great. Pretty cars!!!!!!!! There was a Stingray, it would've taken me maybe two minutes to hotwire I swear. But the Mustang was prettier, it sounded nice. Of course the lady in the Mercedes that nearly wound up getting t-boned because she wasn't paying attention to the CHERRY RED car heading her way (how you couldn't see it coming I'll never know) may beg to differ.

The woman just barrels out of a stop sign without looking, we about went off the road, no wait I think we did. Maybe a little. I was too busy trying to not develop a rather intense case of road rage, I did pretty good. She didn't even look back to see if the car was okay. Stupid Mercedes-bad- driving-owner.

I was the only one in my family to get a decent amount of sleep on Saturday night apparently. I did wind up missing Sunday School, but I saw the second service. Everyone did good; the Mullanes were funny, I'm getting a little sick of "Stranger", the crucifiction was good, Chris died well (looking thoroughly beat up), and I made Cami break charecter.  It was more fun backstage, I'll probably be helping back there next week again.

Now it's Monday. Not much has happened so far, it's only second period.Grandparents are gonna be here next week (change of plans) and I'm pretty sure they'll bring an entourage.

Manly Men in Tights

March 31 2007

I went to a car show today, pretty cars and some old guys
that have been in this band for over 40 years. 40 years…dang. But there were some
really pretty cars, it was a pretty day, and I pretty much had fun.

   The Prestige
is very interesting movie, the ending was very confusing. I think I need to watch
it again, that’s what I get for not paying attention.

Now I’m watching Men In Tights, great movie. I’m trying really
hard not to laugh at my parents, they’re painting Robert’s room and the paint is
starting to get to them. They’re a little loopy. And they have to be at church at
4:00, and I don’t. Hah!

Tomorrow is going to be very interesting. Pa and Nana are going
to be here and boy will that make for an interesting conversation *cough cough*

 They’ll be here for about
a month or so, and I’m not sure how things are going to pan out with that, do if
anyone feels like praying for me that’d be great.

Torture Methods

March 30 2007

I figured out this great way to torture Chris. Just make him watch musicals :D

So now I'm in class again, being a deviant of course.I have to go do a project, so more later!

Concerto

March 28 2007

Yep, the concert's tonight. Woo-hoo! Pretty sure I'm going to be sleeping all day tommorow...

Sometimes, no all the time, I wish we could just get on Myspace without having to go to all the trouble of KProxy and things like that. It's really hard to introduce people to Skillet when the sites are either slow, blocked, or unable to be found. It's annoying really.

Can't think of a bemusing title...

March 27 2007

Yes, I have nothing to put for a title, be afraid!

Evanescence tomorrow!! No, I'm not excited about it either. I don't know why you would think that.

The Sad Cafe

March 26 2007

In B.M. again and I just started my own business, hah. Hope you guys like coffee.

I'm dabbling in the stock market now, I'm thinking about selling a few shares of Google and McDonalds. I just have to wait for these slow-body computers to load. Don't worry none fo this is real, it's a class exercise. I personally don't understand the stock market at all, but I'm trying.

So I'm a little bored.

My grandparents are moving in with us for about a month or two while Pa has radiation therapy. That promises to be interesting to say the least. They might be here in time to see the evening Trilogy (just in time to see Dad beat up Chris). Pa's still really bruised, so they may not come that week.

It's almost time for class to end, so I'll find something else to keep me distraceted.

*EDIT* If anyone has been trying toreach me on my cell, it's currently recuperating from a wild night in Tulsa. I'm hoping it will be better by tonight, but hey things happen

V for Vendetta

March 23 2007
Evey pulls out her mace] I can assure you I mean you no harm.

Evey Hammond:
Who are you?

V:
Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask.

Evey Hammond:
Well I can see that.

V:
Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm
merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

Evey Hammond:
Oh. Right.

V:
But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the
more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis
persona.

V:
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both
victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere
veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished.
However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands
vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin
van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious
violation of volition.

[carves V into poster on wall]

V:
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in
vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the
vigilant and the virtuous.

[giggles]

V:
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me
simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me
V.

Evey Hammond:
Are you like a crazy person?

V:
I am quite sure they will say so.

Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Even St. Elmo's Fire!

March 21 2007

Great movies, great song.

    It’s the middle of
Spring Break, and so far things are going very well. Mom said something about
cleaning, but that was an hour ago and so far we’ve done nothing of that sort.

        Okay, okay,
how nuts is it that someone has called my house 15 freakin times? Yeah.

   Now I’m nodding
along to Blindside, and I’m getting a little bored. Somebody call me or
something. I’m trying to avoid cleaning at all (well almost all) costs.

Steven Tyler PJ's!! Steven Tyler PJ's!!

March 18 2007

We’re watching Son-in-Law, one of the best movies EVER! You
gotta love Pauly Shore.

So yeah, pretty sure it’s SPRING BREAK!! I plan on sleeping
all day tomorrow, or at least not getting out of bed all day. I don’t care if the
house catches fire, I’ll stay in bed!

Dad, Camden, and I went to Jamestown this weekend
for a benefit thingy for Pa. There was a cakewalk, auction, and a raffle for a
really pretty quilt that I helped Nana make. Personally I wanted myself, but we
made a ton of money selling the tickets. I think I’ll live.

 In the mean time I
won a Red Velvet cake and a Devil’s Food cake, anybody want some?

Wanted dead or alive: Chris E. Jensen

March 16 2007

Yeah Chris is gonna get egged or something... I have to be
creative. Maybe I’ll make him listen to rap music for 6 hours straight, no I’m
not that mean… or am I?

Hehe

March 15 2007
.....

Ah Caesar, beware the Ides of March!

March 15 2007

But he didn't so he wound up being turned into swiss cheese by the Senate and then a few hundres years later Willy Shakespeare make a play out of it.

Poor, stupid Julius Caesar. There's a reason that guy rode behind you in your chariot sayin "Remember Caesar thou art mortal."

Anyway, I've woke up at about 9:30 for the past two days and that's only not good because I have school. Which after this week won't be an issue, Spring Break baby!! I still have nothing planned, so if someone has any suggestions, let me know!

Defying Gravity

March 13 2007
GLINDA

(spoken) Elphaba - why couldn't you have stayed calm for

once, instead of flying off the handle!

(sung) I hope you're happy!

I hope you're happy now

I hope you're happy how you

Hurt your cause forever

I hope you think you're clever!

ELPHABA

I hope you're happy

I hope you're happy, too

I hope you're proud how you

Would grovel in submission

To feed your own ambition

BOTH

So though I can't imagine how

I hope you're happy right now

GLINDA

(spoken) Elphie, listen to me. Just say you're sorry:

(sung) You can still be with the Wizard

What you've worked and waited for

You can have all you ever wanted:

ELPHABA

(spoken) I know:

(sung) But I don't want it -

No - I can't want it

Anymore:

Something has changed within me

Something is not the same

I'm through with playing by the rules

Of someone else's game

Too late for second-guessing

Too late to go back to sleep

It's time to trust my instincts

Close my eyes: and leap!

It's time to try

Defying gravity

I think I'll try

Defying gravity

And you can't pull me down!

GLINDA

Can't I make you understand?

You're having delusions of grandeur:

ELPHABA

I'm through accepting limits

'Cuz someone says they're so

Some things I cannot change

But till I try, I'll never know!

Too long I've been afraid of

Losing love I guess I've lost

Well, if that's love

It comes at much too high a cost!

I'd sooner buy

Defying gravity

Kiss me goodbye

I'm defying gravity

And you can't pull me down:

(spoken) Glinda - come with me. Think of what we could

do: together.

(sung) Unlimited

Together we're unlimited

Together we'll be the greatest team

There's ever been

Glinda -

Dreams, the way we planned 'em

GLINDA

If we work in tandem:

BOTH

There's no fight we cannot win

Just you and I

Defying gravity

With you and I

Defying gravity

ELPHABA

They'll never bring us down!

(spoken) Well? Are you coming?

GLINDA

I hope you're happy

Now that you're choosing this

ELPHABA

(spoken) You too

(sung) I hope it brings you bliss

BOTH

I really hope you get it

And you don't live to regret it

I hope you're happy in the end

I hope you're happy, my friend:

ELPHABASo if you care to find me

Look to the western sky!

As someone told me lately:

"Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!"

And if I'm flying solo

At least I'm flying free

To those who'd ground me

Take a message back from me

Tell them how I am

Defying gravity

I'm flying high

Defying gravity

And soon I'll match them in renown

And nobody in all of Oz

No Wizard that there is or was

Is ever gonna bring me down!

GLINDA

I hope you're happy!

CITIZENS OF OZ

Look at her, she's wicked!

Get her!

ELPHABA

:Bring me down!

CITIZENS OF OZ

No one mourns the wicked

So we've got to bring her

ELPHABA

Ahhh!

CITIZENS OF OZ

Down!

I shot a man in Reno...

March 12 2007

Yes, I am at school and yes, I am bored.

Just waiting for something eventful to happen, we're watching a video on mutual funds in B.M. and I'm not really paying attention. I probably should be...

My friend Spencer and I got to talking about all the folks over in Ireland (including Adam, who had better be taking pictures!!!!!!) for St. Patrick's day. Our scenario managed somehow to change from a round of drinking songs to an attack of the IRA. And somehow another girl in our class wound up in it and it didn't bode well for her. She drank all the Guinnes in Ireland and managed to tick off the IRA, poor her.

Queires Bailar

March 09 2007

I got back from salsa practice about 20 minutes ago…we’re
all a bit insane if I may say. Spencer can’t keep his shirt on, and that’s a
little weird if you’re his partner. Even weirder is when he starts doing
something to your hair. It was kinda funny when I turned around and landed him
one in the chest.

   I can’t wait for
Cinco De Mayo…

I think we’re having a movie night at my house tonight, not
to sure but I know mom said something about Underworld 2, oh wait that was me.
Yeah, then tomorrow I have this stupid English project on Walt freakin’ Whitman.
Egh. I liked him before, but now I’m ready to kill him. Thing is he’s already
dead.

Spring Break is in less than a week, and I still have nothing
planned. Somebody please give me something entertaining to do!!?!

    Okay so I might
just be trying out for High School Musical at Patterson Park
soon…
