Song: Bring it On Home (track 4)

The 11 seconds I referred to was valid with the media player version.  I'm not sure about realplayer.

I didn't hear it. I have crazy sensitive ears (the doctor said I have "super sonic hearing"), but I didn't hear a squeal. It could just be my not-so-wonderful laptop speakers.

Couldn't hear it ... but then I was trying to listen from the other side of the world. Can you send me a clip?

pretty sure i heard it. from what i heard, it may have been bad recording or the fact that they're trying to stream music... that's always a pain in the butt and probably they lowered the quality to make sure that nobody tried to replace the real with the fake. the high-pitched thing may have had to do with any of that, but i definately had my ears hurt when i heard that... and i think that's what you heard

I tried to copy it, but can't figure out a way. As for it being a sample issue, I heard that sound first on the radio. The only reason I chased it down was to see if others could hear it. If it's that way on the radio, I assume it's that way on the original track. So it sounds like 2/7 think they hear something so far. Well, at least I'm not alone. It's so faint that it's almost more of a sensation than something you can actually hear. I'm gonna have to take my good headphones good from work and listen again.

I did hear something, but I think they may have been doing a G7 or 6 or whichever one it is...you're musical, you can figure out what I'm trying to say.

anyway i didn't listen to the clip you posted but i did listen to the original track on my computer.... um high pitched out of tune thing..... there is an odd higher guitar twang but i don't think that's what you're talking about. could it be that people who listen to country a lot don't hear it is as off and those who don't listen, it pains them?

Re: listening to country. I regret to admit that I listen to country regularly, largely due to the sudden death of my CD player and the fact taht the country station is the only station that can reach from my house to where I work. I don't think it's a lack of experience with the genre (he mumbles ashamed)... As for it being a 7 or 6, the note I'm hearing (think I'm hearing?) isn't a half step or more below the 1(8). It's just a couple pennies flat.

i definitely agree with you on the sensation rather than the actual note. it was just like there was something kinda wierd, painful, off-ish...
