June 02, 2005I always love new internet things, jsut one more thing to get addicted to. I have blogs w/ xanga and myspace so not sure how much I\"ll keep this updated but its a friend of a friend\'s site so ya know, just supporting :) Leave me messages!

me and Brock bowling after the Delta Zeta formal this fall! we had mucho fun with my sorority sisters and their dates!!! Brock and i are no more, but he is still my best friend and i love him to death!!! he even still lets me call him Babe!
Problems with layout?

Hey guys, take a look at this screenshot of my site. If yours does not look similar to that (the layout), will you please leave a comment for me and tell me how yours looks different.
I think on some computers, the photo box and friend box is showing up in the wrong spot.
Also, in your comment, please tell me what browser you are using (Big Blue \"E\" Internet Explorer, Firefox, AOL, Netscape, Safari, Opera, etc...)

June 02, 2005ok guys i mean really not to sound whiny or anything, but for some reason people think i am superwoman. i\'ll take it as a compliment, but i think i\'m gonna have to start saying no to some things.not only am i a full time student (even in the summer) i am also a part-time employee for the college of nursing and apparently i have been assigned the titles of recruiter of potential Delta Zetas, recruitet of poetential UAH housing students, and wedding coordinator/ events planner. i am also a youth leader and a Bible study leader.
so i mean, it sounds like alot and it is but it is all totally fun and i just can\'t say no! so pray that i will have the strength and great time-managenemt skills to keep it all up!
lunch
June 02, 2005so i went to lunch today with dr. isley and emily...it was soo much fun! i told her about my stroke and of course she flipped out but she was more sympathetic that i expected her to be. she was genuinely scared for me....which is much different than ms cancryn would have been! i cannot tell you how happy it has made me to switch teachers - seriously one of the best decisions of my life!!! and so now she knows everything that is going on in emily and mine\'s life. then she told us about her trip to europe...SHE STOPPED A TRAIN!! she\'s that cool ;) no she said that musicians over there are treated special b/c it\'s such a part of their history and culture so when they found out she was a singer, they called and got her new connecting trains and stopped just to let her catch one! and my new goal for the summer is to become more personal with people. i feel like all my friendships are very shallow - i don\'t know what is going on in their lives or their history. well i started on that today at lunch (which with dr. isley isn\'t that hard to do!) so i feel a little bit of a sense of accomplishment. now i just have to go study for my final tomorrow....BLAH!!!! have a great day!Messaging System and Lower Res
June 02, 2005I have added a messaging system. Just click [message] in the profile section on anyone\'s page or goto your FRIENDS page in the menu bar and click [message] under their photo.Start messaging some people so I can see how the system holds up with heavy usage.
I also changed the way I show photos because it was eating up my bandwidth pretty quickly. Now, when you view a photo, it is a 400 pixel wide thumbnail instead of a full res image (like 1200pixels wide) that was scaled down to 400.
This so make the photo loading on pages MUCH MUCH faster because you are only downloading images that are about 1/9 of the size.
This will help me on bandwidth... which I know is going to be an issue in the future if this site takes off.
I am slowly adding more features. Let me know if you think of anything new!

One Week
June 02, 2005Wow. I cannot believe that exactly one week ago is when I started programming this site. You see, that shows you how much you can accomplish in just one week.I have been wanting to program a new blogging site like this for quite some time, I just never got around to do it. I wanted to create something that was cleaner, nicer, and more user friendly than mySpace or Xanga, and of course... photo uploading.
I will continue to work on the site and I still have several features that I want to add and several pages that still need some work, so bare with me while the site goes through some changes.
As always, let me know if you come across any bugs or any messages that have ERROR in them.
Also, if you have any features you would like to add, just let me know.
I will see you around PhuseBox and get some more people to register.

June 02, 2005Church last night was really great. We talked about comitting ourselves to God. I needed to be reminded that I\'m not fully committed to Him. Restaurant Raid after church. Soooo much fun. Nathan was bouncing around telling everyone about phusebox so now like the entire youth group has one. It\'s awesome. But hey I\'m out. TTEL!!! ByE!!

June 01, 2005i got off work two hours early! yay for me!as i was driving around... so patiently waiting for amber to get home... i felt like an emo kid. let me take a moment to explain why: i had on my chucks (which i haven\'t worn in a while), i was listening to \"brick\" by ben folds, it was raining, and i was in deep thought. totally emo. however, i am thinking that stopped when i got a sonic blast...
