summer has been great as of now. friends are great and work is terrible. i dread every minute that i am there. and i have four ap classes worth of summer work to complete and i have not started one bit of it.
but on a more spiritual matter i have just started the barbarian way by erwin mcmanus (compliments of my big bro) and it is awesome. it really calls out the type of life and faith that i have been living lately one that is civilized and churched. it says that we should revert to our primal uncivilized pure raw faith. we have to overcome our proper churching and live by the faith that we had right when we started to believe one that is all for losing everything and not caring about onything but serving the heart of our king!!!
barbarian is to be a member of a people considered by those of another nation or group to have a primitive civilization (or faith)

Easter!!

Well Easter is coming up on Sunday, so here are my thoughts on Easter.
Why, as Christians, do we put more emphasis on Christmas than we do on Easter? Is not the day that Jesus rose from the dead more impotant than his birth? Yes, I know his birthday is important, but our faith is based on his resurection, not his birth! So, you would not miss or forget Christmas so don't forget the reason behind our beliefs! Believe in Easter and recognize it for the amazing day that it is! Jesus came back to life from the DEAD!!!!!Just think about that and then realize the magnitude of it!! He rose from the DEAD!!! He is alive and living and active!! Let him move in you in this special season!! And here is a amazing song that tells that story:

So i know its been a long time since i have updated so i thought it was about time! a lot has happened since the last time. i now have an amazing girlfriend. who constantly makes me smile and just be happy. I went to mexico and that was awesome. im sure you have read 300 other updates about the trip so i'll spare you all the details. And i'm just makin it through and tryin to do my best. everyday is just like the one before it and will be like the next day so not many days stand out. but this saturday is going to be great because it is mine and kaitlin's 1 month. so i'm excited! she is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! just thinking about her makes me smile!!

So how about i have the greatest friends in the entire world!! me ben john and garrett just had a pancake eating contest at ihop. it was amazing we just talked about all kinds of really random stuff so it was cool! but this girl kept giving us dirty looks when ever we would talk about anything MANLY(farting, burping, etc.) it was really funny and then john hit ben in the stomac and he threwup! it was harilous!! i wish everyone could have been there and seen it! but oh well im spending the night at ben's house and i have to be at work an 7 in the mornig!! so i'm sitting here at work on my lunch break contemplating the greatness that is offered through Jesus. i know my last update sounded like a little emo kid but mow i realize that no matter what is going on in my life, wether i am happy or sad i still have the joy of the lord. so i am now energized to finish the day nad make it through another day at work. but tonite is the lockin and there is no school tomorrow so it is gonna be awesome!!! cause i get to see all of my cool friends!

Well its been a while but everything is going ok. I have been working a lot lately so i've missed out on a lot of stuff, which stinks. However other than that everything is alright. I wish that I had more time to spend time with my friends and time on school work. but hey what can i say. Saturday is the fall retreat and that is going to be awesome im so excited!!! i'm gona play paintball and light everybody up! espscially big o, you have it coming. no im just kidding. but i night update in like another month or so. so in the mean time fight the good fight and keep it real!!!

So I am sitting here in class and thinking about how school is terrible. I hate being here. I hate wasting 7 hours of my day sitting in a class that I will not use any of the skills that I am learning. I could teach my self the same things in like 15 minutes and not 55. I wish I could do that. And since I really have no great Christian friends here it is hard to make it through the day. So its not that much fun. So I live for going to work, goind to church, and seeing my friends. They make me tick. I don't know what I would do without them.
And on another note. GOD is awesome. I love to see how HE can move in lives and change them. And I hope that we can all feel HIS presence in our lives at some time. I can be so selfish and focused on myself. I hope and pray that HE can change me. Because I can't do it on my own.
